Happy New Year

Happy New Year!!! We are back from a whole week in Vermont - we even had Christmas there. Although I haven't blogged in a looonnngggg time, rest assured that I have not fallen off the face of the earth - just have hunkered down with my crazy lovable patchwork family (four boys and a baby and my beautiful, wonderful wife)to enjoy the school vacation week in Vermont - visiting with wonderful friends, enjoying the warmth of the woodstove and the silence of the falling snow, renewing my spiritual batteries at church, helping our oldest son really make a plan for enlisting in the military... Enjoying watching the baby discover FOOD: first veggies and fruits happened this week and she is a CHOW HOUND!But, mostly I have been basking in the glow of having NO APPOINTMENTS: no Psychiatrists, no Therapists, no Basketball practice, no Dentists, no Doctors, no Social Workers, no family visits, no NOTHING...Glorious nothing....Bliss.

Yeah - I know...all that will end, come Monday, when the crazy schedule begins again - but, in the meantime, let me enjoy it while I can....

  2. Sounds sooooo good! And what great news about Baby Dee loving food. I am impressed. Nothing like recharging by a woodstove, is there?

  4. Happy New Year! So glad you got away. We have a full house and kids have been on vacation since the 17th! Solid foods way to go!!!! Have her try avocado. That was Milagro's first baby food and it has so many great properties! She still loves it!
