She Made It

Oldest daughter Erica (the one that calls us "Moms") made it to Las Vegas this week with the fiance in one piece...well the fiance is one piece....the relationship is another story. Driving cross country with someone you are in a solid relationship with is taxing enough...

I am hoping it all works out and she enjoys her adventure out West. If it doesn't work out, at least she knows there is a fallback plan. She has our phone number and a small bank account with a former foster parent that could get her half-way home.

I'll take it that things are going well when we don't hear from her for a stretch.

She is a feisty survivor and I am proud to be one of her many, many Mamas.
